Drawing on themes from Struck in the Upside Down and the world of Stranger Things, this episode explores hell not as a cartoonish torture chamber or Satan’s kingdom, but as what the Bible more consistently presents it to be, the abyss, the pit, the place where life collapses in on itself when cut off from God.
