Growing up in Communist China, Annie strove to be the best she could be in her education and her career, but she was driven to a desperate search for the meaning of life when a friend ended her own in hopelessness. In that dark time, an English teacher with a beautiful smile and contagious joy led her to meet Jesus for the first time, and Annie was changed forever.
