Doris (Clare Blackwood, @clareblackwood) followed the sheriff’s orders and returned upstairs to draw, Evangeline (Laura Hamstra, @elhamstring) left as well, though only after Val was staked, un-staked, and staked again and Everett ordered her to leave, and finally Val put Everett into torpor with her fists and brought his limp body upstairs to gloat.
