Twin Peaks: the Return: the DECODE episode 2.
The Post Relevant Podcast dares to go where no one dares to dare as we follow the owl's screech along a jagged path strewn with corn and backwards dreams across a multidimensional soap opera in order to glance into the deep puddles of Lynch's bubble gum mind. Or something similar...
Its a jumbo-sized episode as hosts Phil Ristaino and Justin Epifanio:
1. Talk and eat and talk some more.
2. Interview Stephen James Buckley of the music project Polypores (part 1 of a 2-part interview, to be exact).
3. Feature the music of Polypores all over the dang episode!
4. Do a deep dive decode of Twin Peaks: the Return episode
2 where we:
a. define what 'erstwhile' means
b. learn how to shut a man off by rubbing his jawbone
c. discuss the science of time and the nature of dreamtime
while occupying the Black Lodge, as well the Venus
and Saturn chairs and what exactly Laura Palmer is now.
d. marvel at Mr C's magical phone technology and his poor
communication skills with Philip Jefferies (this is Philip
Jefferies, right?)
e. Call Yoohoo's flavor 'vanilla' whilst not besmirching it.
f. tell tall tales of dreams of buses with no drivers.
In between all that is much much more talking. Its a big ep! Drink it down like a cosmic Yoohoo!
