Rashidat (Shida) and I picked up from where we left off in part 1 of our conversation. 

Rashidat is a 1st generation immigrant and the founder of Investing Padi,  an online community that aims to educate immigrants, minorities, and women about the value of investing in the stock market.

Her community started after discovering that many people just like her miss out on low barrier to entry investment opportunities offered in the stock market.  Rashidat is dedicated to empowering her community by educating them about the basics of investing, overcoming limiting beliefs and fears associated with investing, and showing them that they can start investing with little, which can go a long way in the future.

Rashidat has a B.Sc in Physics and M. Eng in Energy Systems Engineering. In addition, she has a background in operations, engineering, and consulting.   She loves to chat with her community about different ways of building sustainable wealth.
