We finish out Stephen King month and pose the most important question, is The Shawshank Redemption the best Stephen King adapted film?

Multitasking is the name of the game this week as we discuss the Stephen King miniseries, Rose Red while we also remove ticks from our puppy's fur after her long walk through the forest. We discuss the background to the story, Brian's Rain Man-esque ability to rattle off Ferris Bueller information, and we ponder the question does a picture say a thousand words or do we need four hours of exposition for that?

Chad's foot-grabbing child, a leaking roof, and how amazing the 70's must have been are just some of the things we discuss as we start Stephen King month with the classic, Carrie.

Confusion is the key word as we talk Donnie Darko. We also discuss 9/11, our upcoming, "so bad they are good movies," and what this movie is actually about.

Groundhog Day is next week and what better way to celebrate than to delve into the Bill Murray classic. We have three different views from Chad's embrace of Dionysian decadence, Karina's thoughts of a depressing, dark film, and Brian just telling them to take it at face value.

This is a special bonus episode where we, as lifelong Star Wars fans, give our thoughts on the newest movie Rogue One. I will reiterate that we do give spoilers so if you have not seen or are not planning on seeing the film, you may not want to listen to this one yet.

This week we start our, teen angst month with the quintessential 80's flick, The Breakfast Club. John Hughes seemed to bring out our philosophical side as we discussed how sterotypes are created, social norms, and what defines the film genre, musical.

A traditional camping trip takes an untraditional turn in Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. We also discuss the horror, comedy genre, the loss of Carrie Fisher, and Karina's obsession with Alan Tudyk. If you have not seen the movie, please give it a watch before you give us a listen!
