A Discussion about Working from Home

We've got this quarantine on still. If you're lucky, you still have your job, and if you're REALLY lucky, you're not doing it in a risky environment. Which means working from home! Ready Player One is a movie about working from home in a virtual video game world, starring the GOOD Cyclops and the Death Star whiny guy from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Surrogates is a story about working from home with robot bodies and stars our National Shizznit, Bruce Willies and Babe's Dad from Babe.

Listen, I know our episode has a silly title, but these are serious times. One half of 2Films 2Curious keeps having lil anxiety episodes because of this whole thing.

BUT!

But, movies help us. Here's 34! Thirty Four! movie recommendations for you, all of which are available on streaming services.

Also, please be helpful to others out there. People are scared, and sometimes all they need is encouragement.

Welcome to Season 2! We're so glad you're here <3.

What makes a good sequel? Is it a good cast? Paying attention to the source material? Or is it prayer and magic? Join us as we attempt to discover these secret herbs and spices while we discuss Pacific Rim: Uprising and Terminator 2: Rise of the Machines. The Critically panned PacRim2 stars FN-2187 as a rebellious cad who pilots robots that fight robots and monsters. T2 does NOT star Ewan MacGregor and is instead of a bad robot gone good who fights against a silver pudding robot.

In this, the wintery shopping season, it's important to remember that you don't gotta buy EVERYTHING. Like, obviously we out here buying a lot of gifts, but you know; chill a little bit. Anyways, we watched Dawn of the Dead where the Zombies are consumers and Miracle on 34th Street where Santa hits a man on the head.

Drax: If he's a planet, how could he make a baby with your mother? He would smush her.

Sometimes a setting is so rich, it feels like a whole other character... Sometimes the setting IS a whole other character. Both of these movies are suspenseful tales of hotels. Both of these hotels are so evocative, that they feel like protagonists or antagonists you can relate to. Both of these hotels are technically fake (although the Overlook is inspired by a couplea different places you can visit...).

BUT! only one of these movies have a setting that IS a character... Is it Bad Times at the El Royale or The Shining?
