The Martian is a really dope movie where Not-Mark-Whalberg does some neat science to save himself from the harsh Martian surface. RocketMan is a movie where Harland Williams is told off in a harsh fashion for annoying his peers on the Martian surface.

2Films 3Curious is back with another special guest! Co-Tagonist Devon is on to talk with us about Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet and Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing. Baz Luhrmann's ostentation highlights beautifully the melodrama that is Shakespeare's most well known story of two idiots that kill each other and Joss Whedon does a glorious job adapting "Much Ado"s original text to a house party he had in 2011. Both have modern pictures and old timey words and help you feel better about not paying attention to them in High School.

Epic literature is so ingrained culturally, that to cut through the white noise, you often have to put your own little twist on it. Even Romeo and Juliet has guns and zombies now; depending on what you watch...

The 13th Warrior is the story of Beowulf as told through the eyes of Antonio Banderas. It was a huge flop that deserves far more credit. O Brother Where Art Thou? is the story of the Odyssey set in Great Depression America. The music is AMAZING and all of the neat peripheral actors are amazing too.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl stars Legolas, Sabé, and Sweeny Todd as adventurers on the sea of Piracy (the Pirasea?). We learn that not all pirates are bad and not all protagonists are "good" in this, the first of five Pirateses. Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World stars Javert, Vision, and Peregrin Took as they hunt down a French Privateer. Good guys do good and bad guys do well in this much more gritty boat movie.
