When I was a beginner I often missed out on the details and always tried to find the best photorealistic tutorial and chances are you won’t get it.  We need to ask the correct question or not you’re going to get the wrong answers. What we should try to do is to get used to professional habits.

When a new 3d artist joined my academy or my Facebook group they always ask me the same question as I did back then in 2008, “Sir how to create a Photorealistic rendering” then “Sir can I have your render settings, sir?” or “ what are your computer specs, sir?”. These questions are fine but do not expect people will reply to you. Trust me people will ignore this, and at the time I joined the biggest Indonesia Arch Viz forum, all I got were only 3 answers.

In this industry, you can’t be lazy or be impatient as I used to be especially shortcuts aren’t welcomed. Details and attention are important to ensure your quality, while time is important for your rendering. Are your clients always asking you to lower the price or your having problems raising the price of your hard work?  

This made me really frustrated. Not about losing the client, but it’s how they kept undervaluing us, and if I let them do this it would create a cycle of being underpaid.  

Which led me to think that I’m not going to survive in this industry or that I had set my expectation too high for this industry, but i am not went that far and turns out, i can get over it.

Once upon a time, i met a software when i was in a darkest era of my life. 

Yes, it's SketchUp, this software introduce me to a different side of the world, which is Architectural Visualization.  

At this period I fell in love with the industry. I learned how to render deeper and tried more visualization.

I founded an academy named 2G academy at the end of 2013. 

I put a tagline “Helping others” this became the source of my “why” and I really love helping people who will generate results. 

However, when I hit my goals in this industry, I lost interest in it. 

After a year I read this book so that I could fully understand why I was in this industry again.  

I got back and started to revive my academy to help others about visualization.
