Payton's week!

This episode we go into the life and crimes of Oba Chandler, who was convicted of the murders of Joan, Michelle, and Christe Rogers. The mother and daughters were from Ohio who drove to Florida for a family vacation. This case was the first time law enforcement utilized billboards to aid in an investigation in the United States. While most of the evidence linking him to the Rogers family murders was circumstantial, Oba Chandler was eventually linked by DNA evidence to the murder of Ivelisse Berrios–Beguerisse. He is suspected of more murders going back to the 1960's.

Paige's week!

We finish up this two parter. We discuss the rest of the case, and go into specific people involved in the pedophile and child pornography ring, including some victims. The alleged suicide of Chris Busch; the main suspect. We talk about the end of the old task force and the new task force and the steps they're taking. And lastly, the families of the victims. This case remains unsolved.

Paige's week!

This is a rough one guys, and a two parter. We discuss the murders of 4 children in the 70's that took place in Oakland County, Michigan. The police around this same time uncovered a very large and organized pedophile ring from an island, and we discuss the details of how the two events are possibly linked. Unfortunately this case is still unsolved after all these years, but it is still being actively investigated.

In this episode we dive into the life of Grigori Rasputin. A man where much of the rumors surrounding him were false. We talk about what we know about his beginnings as a Siberian peasant. We discuss his eventual move to St. Petersburg and his rise to power and influence. And lastly we discuss the myth and the truth around his murder and the aftermath.

In this episode Paige brings the story of the icebox murders. Where on a wellness check, police discover a very gruesome scene at the home of Fred and Edwina Rogers. The prime suspect almost immediately becomes their mysterious son Charles who has been living with them... But where is he?

This week Payton finishes her two parter on Peter Sutcliffe.
We go through the rest of his crimes and how he was eventually arrested. We talk about the trial, the verdict, and Peter's time behind bars.

This week Paige did a deep dive into the incredibly tragic murder of Bobbie Jo Stinnett and the Caesarean section abduction of her unborn baby Tori Jo. The heinous crime was committed by Lisa Montgomery who was recently executed on January 13th, 2021.  We discuss Lisa's sad upbringing and the theories as to why she, a mother herself, would do such a thing.

This week we discuss the Victorian-era case of Mary Pearcey. Unfortunately we don't know much about her early life but what we do know is how her jealousy drove her to murder her lovers wife, Pheobe Hogg and her baby Tiggy. Mary was convicted and hanged for her crimes.

This week Paige takes us back to 1918 when the Axeman of New Orleans preyed on the city during the Spanish influenza. She brought another unsolved case, guys.
