Most of us love to sew with friends, be it at a bee, or a retreat. When I read the intro to Krista Hennebury's book 'Make it Take it' I saw that she has been running retreats for quilters for 10 years! I thought it would be fun to learn about retreats from an expert and chat about her book full of projects designed by herself and her friends, they are very clever projects indeed!

I love antique quilts and the stories behind them. The history of quilting is being documented by wonderful historians like Sue Reich. I have several of her books and one that I particularly love is the book about quilts with 1,000 Pieces. Sue is going to chat today with me about what she has learned about quilt makers long ago, it might surprise you!

When I first started my company I meet Cindy Taylor Oates of Taylor Made Design. I love her projects, her directions and her! She was friendly and welcoming to a new person in the industry and over the years I've been so happly to keep up with her. She just hit a nice milestone of 30 years in business and I am thrilled to chat with her this about her journey!
