This week on @3beersandamovie we are once again talking via Zoom, and for episode #254 we are drinking the wonderfully named #MangoUnchained from @ShindiggerBeer and the less wonderfully named Bud Ice.  

One of us watched a lot of TV with dabblings in #TheBoys, #OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding and #ObiWan

Movie wise we delve into Netflix with action adventure with Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson in 'The Man From Toronto', then its onto AmazonPrime for time travel romance 'Press Play', the cinema entertains us next with biopic from Baz Luhrmann 'Elvis' and we finish with Apple+ Sundance 2022 darling 'Cha Cha Real Smooth'.

This week on episode #253 of @3beersanda movie, we get to the movies to finally see Alex Garlands thriller 'MEN' and in some odd scheduling the latest release from Pixar 'Lightyear'. We also delve into the latest big budget release from Netflix with Chris Hemsworth thriller 'Spiderhead'. One of us rages against Western 'Apache Junction' and the other falls back in love with all things 'Stranger Things'.

On episode 252 of a film podcast that is still pretty making it up as we go, we drink Bud Light, German beer, and discuss one of us getting over a non Covid illness. 

When finished with that we start talking movies , starting with Disney+ comedy 'The Binge', then Scotlands finest Gerry Butler fills our eyeballs with thriller 'Last Seen Alive' on SkyCinema, then its onto Netflix sports drama from Adam Sandler 'Hustle' and we finish with the 3rd or 6th instalment in the series with 'Jurassic World Dominion'.

We are back on zoom for episode 251.

Lots to discuss with Netflix offerings, starting with German comedy 'Rumspringa' and then action thriller 'Interceptor'. We also look of Scotlands finest Karen Gillian in sci-fi/horror 'Dual' available on Sky Cinema, and we finish with intense thriller from 'Host' director Rob Savage 'Dashcam'.

An exciting day as not only do we reach a milestone of sorts with episode #250 and for the first time since March 2020 we do it face to face, in an old haunt, no Zoom, no phones, face to face...close enough to lick. 

When we arent licking each others faces we touch again on 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' still in cinemas, Amazon prime delivers frat-party-thriller in 'Emergency' and survival thriller 'Gold'. We then return to the cinema with adult animation 'The Bobs Burgers Movie' and the film that is being talked about by everyone, a sequel 30+ years in the making 'Top Gun: Maverick'

Episode #248 of a film podcast that is so knowledgeable that this week mixes up Sam Worthington and Sam Richardson...

When we aren't doing that we spend time eulogizing the late great Fred Ward, and talking about the Netflix comedy from Rebel Wilson 'Senior Year', then its off to the cinema for the newest Stephen King adaptation 'Firestarter' and we finish with the mind altering, mind bending new flick from the Daniels 'Everything Everywhere All At Once'. 

We battle through intermittent power cuts (honestly!) to bring episode 247 to you. 

One of us has seen lots, the other has seen one thing twice. 

Quick reviews of oscar nominated documentary 'Flee' and Irish vampire movie 'Boys From County Hell' are followed by slightly longer reviews of Amazon Prime release 'The Contractor' starring Chris Pine and British war time spy thriller still in cinemas 'Operation: Mincemeat' featuring an all star cast. 

Then we move onto the main event with the 28th entry into the MCU with 'Dr Strange In the Multiverse Of Madness'.

The cinemas are clearing the boards in expectations of the newest Marvel juggernaut, so or pickings are slim this week. 

The streaming services are used to there full potential this week, starting with Netflix coming of age story with a kick ass soundtrack 'Metal Lords', then it's Swedish apocalyptic thriller 'Black Crab' also on Netflix. We finish with alternative rom com available on AmazonPrime 'I Want You Back'. 

We are beset with audio issues on this episode with one of us quieter than a church mouse, and one of us bellowing like Brian Blessed, so be prepared. 

In a rare occurance we delve back into a movie we reviewed on a previous week, with Robert Eggers 'The Northman' coming back for more, followed by Paul Verhoeven's sexy nun drama 'Benedetta' and we finish with the force of nature that is Nicholas Cage in 'The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent'.
