On this weeks episode Richard tries to convince Colin to watch 'Derry Girls', we eulogize Gilbert Gottfried and talk about two movies in the cinema during the current Easter break 'Sonic The Hedgehog 2' and the return to the Wizarding world with 'Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore'.

On this weeks episode we talk about the INCIDENT that overshadowed the 2022 Academy Awards, the retirement of Hollywood legend Bruce Willis.

We then finally get onto movies with Netflix dark comedy 'Windfall', Sky Cinema action thriller 'Blacklight' and newly crowned best picture Oscar 'CODA' all being viewed and reviewed this week. 

A relatively quiet week of movie watching this week, so much so one of us goes off on a Scorpions tangent. 

When we do finally get back to talking about movies we cover all bases, with remake of family comedy on Disney + 'Cheaper By The Dozen'. The same streamer then throws up the very original and very f**ked up romantic horror 'Fresh' and we finish with some classy cinema with Cannes darling 'The Worst Person In The World'.

This week on @3beersAndAMovie one of us is suffering from the dreaded covid, but the lure of discussing movies is too much and he drags himself from his sickbed to do so. 

Firstly we look over the Netflix wilderness survival release 'Against The Ice', dark A24 thriller 'The Humans'. Then it's onto the main event that has dominated cinema this week and indeed next week, Matt Reeves vision of 'The Batman' starring Robert Pattinson. We have lots to say on this and avoid spoilers (we think).

It's a relatively quiet week for us all, with only a couple of cinema trips to see retelling of the classic story 'Cyrano' and British comedy 'The Duke', as well as delving into some of our recent tv watchings. 

This week the weather hampers our cinema going but that just leaves more time for all the streaming services.

Netflix is the biggest winner in terms of our viewing with documentary 'The Tindler Swindler', animation 'Inside Job', Scandinavian thriller 'The Trip' and horror reboot 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. We also delve in Rakouten with 'The Real Charlie Chaplin' and Sky Cinema Release 'Old Henry', and new Steven Soderbergh offering 'Kimi'. We finish with cinema release starring and directed by Channing Tatum 'Dog'.

On episode 235 we pay homage to the late great comedic genius Ivan Reitman who passed away this week.
