  • Full Ep: Anthony Becht helps preview college and NFL
The calendar has flipped to September and it's time to talk to lots of football on this edition of the only digital radio show that focuses in on those Underdogs every week.

Host T.J. Rives is back with a couple of guests that are ready to talk the first real weekend of college football and of course some NFL, as well.

First, Brian Edwards, Senior Handicapper of Majorwager.com and Vegas Insider, is back on board and ready to go over a couple of college pooches that he loves. What Thursday night game does Brian favor? And, will he bite on Arkansas State Saturday night at Memphis or perhaps Navy hosting BYU as a home doggy Labor Day Monday night in Annapolis?

Next T.J. and Brian go over the NBA Playoffs and already the upstart teams in the Eastern Conference are making upset waves. Can the underdog Celtics and Heat keep it up? Brian has analysis and stats backing the both.

Finally TJ is joined by former New York Jets number one pick/turned NFL TV analyst, Anthony Becht. Becht, who played 11 years at tight end in the National Football League, has lots of thoughts on the pro and college game including: whether the Big Ten will resume or not? This is especially after President Donald Trump got involved in lobbying for the conference to reinstate it's schedule earlier in the week.

Becht also give some thoughts on his first love, the Jets and the chances they have to be better in 2020 and maybe even can't in for a playoff spot? And, as a former player and member of the broadcast coverage of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Becht has takes on Tom Brady joining the Bucs and the  "sky high" expectations

It's all part of the start of football. Rejoice!

On this edition of the show, Senior handicapper from Vegas Insider and Majorwager.com, Brian Edwards, hops on board with me to talk on several subjects, including a little college football and then, the pausing, for now, of the NBA Playoffs in there "bubble" in Orlando.

Brian and I discuss the latest on those playoff games on hold while the NBA players decide whether or not they're going to continue to play due to social injustice and the shooting of Jacob Blake earlier this week in Kenosha, Wisconsin?

We also bring it back to sports, as Brian gives an underdog prediction for the UFC fight card coming on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

Then, the show switches to the video and audio "Round Table" talking lots of NFL football with Sal Capaccio with the Buffalo Bills radio broadcast and Gary Segars host of the "Winning Cures Everything" 5 day a week show and podcast.

Sal also gives his thoughts on whether QB Josh Allen (above) and the Bills are ready to take the next steps beyond just being happy to be a playoff team, which they have been two of the last three years?

Gary also has his takes on the NFL testing controversy, where numerous teams had false positives of Covid 19 that delayed their practices and preparation last weekend. We also discuss whether or not playing preseason games will hamper some teams try to get used to new coaches and personnel?

Speaking of that, we all have opinions on Brady and his new team, the Buccaneers and how will they do in 2020?

  • Full Ep: Brett McMurphy of Stadium on CFB cancellation mayhem
Did the Big Ten make the right decision by cancelling it’s Fall college football season? Is there a chance that they will reverse course and decide to play their planned conference only schedule anyway? We address all of this and more on the latest edition of the “3 Dog Thursday’ podcast

Host T.J. Rives is back with his guests to discuss that hot topic and others with his guests.

First, as he customarily does, Sr. Handicapper Brian Edwards from Majorwager.com and Vegas Insider, leads off the show with his thoughts on the latest with the Big Ten football shutdown and the ramifications. Also, the SEC has released their official conference only schedule and Brian goes over the teams that really got the raw end of the two added opponents to make the 10 game schedule happen.

Brian also looks at the under/over season win totals for the SEC teams, especially like Bama, Georgia and LSU at the top?

Then, Edwards gives his takes on the NBA playoffs beginning and the immediate upsets by 8 seeds Orlando and Portland in their game ones against Milwaukee and the L.A. Lakers. What kind of chance do either have to push or even maybe, win the series against the heavy faves? And, Brian gives Underdog advice and under/over point total advice for some Thursday and Friday games.

Finally, T.J. brings the TOP college football info insider on the show, Brett McMurphy of WatchStadium.com. T.J. and Brett debate the Big Ten decision and whether commissioner Kevin Warren might be in big trouble for his lack of leadership less than a year into the job? Brett also gives opinions on the SEC schedule release, the CFB Playoff possibilities and, there’s healthy debate about actors Patrick Swayze and Kiefer Sutherland and who was tougher? Swayze’s “Dalton” in the 80’s action B movie “RoadHouse?” Or Sutherland as THE Jack Bauer on Fox’s TV hit “24?”

On a brand new edition of the only digital radio show devoted exclusively to Underdogs, host T J Rives is back with his guests trying to make "heads or tails" out of what's going on in college football with conferences canceling their seasons?!

First up in his customary spot, Senior handicapper of Majorwager.com and Vegas Insider, Brian Edwards, jumps back on the show with his thoughts on the Big Ten and Pac-12 both pulling the plug on playing even a conference only schedule this season. Brian further has thoughts on the implications long-term for the member schools and might some of them decide to try to play any way individually?

Then, Brian and T.J. go over the final couple of days of the NBA's resumption of their regular season at the "bubble" in Orlando. Which Western team that was out of it when the resumption began, has stunned the others chasing the final playoff spot and impressed those that keep wagering on that team?

Brian finally gives his picksm including a couple of underdogs and parlays, for the upcoming #UFC252 pay-per-view in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Then, our Roundtable makes its return with an even bigger and longer debate on the college football scheduling mess.

T.J. welcomes radio colleague from Detroit, Dan Leach of Detroit's 97.1 FM 'The Ticket" to give the Big Ten point of view. He also brings back Matt Zemek of USC 's Trojanwire.com from USA Today Sports for the Pac-12 point of view.

And with the SEC in mind, Chris Stewart of the Alabama Crimson Tide Sports Network, makes an appearance try to help breakdown whether the SEC can help steady the ACC and the Big 12 to continue with confidence to play?

The guys also debate how legitimate a potential College Football Playoff would be, if no big 10 or PAC 12 teams are playing in 2020?
