3 Dog Thursday - College Football Underdog Predictions

On the latest edition of the only digital radio show devoted exclusively to Underdogs in college hoops, host T.J. Rives is back and ready for March!

First T.J. sets the table for the best sports month of the year talking about the run up to the NCAA Tourney. He also reminisces about the 30th anniversary of the tragic on court death of Loyola-Marymount’s Hank Gathers and then his devastated teammates made magic the next two weeks in the NCAA tourney.

Next, Brian Edwards of Majorwager.com is back after a week where he hit two of his Underdogs last weekend. Brian loves two Thursday night pooches, including one in the Pac12. Brian also has thoughts on a couple of critical doggies for Saturday, including one in the SEC. He and T.J. also discuss how wide open the NCAA Tourney appears it will be for 2020.

Then, Gary Segars of “Winning Cures Everything” podcast is back on the show talking up the crazy week already that has seen one road team after another pull off outright upsets. He also has a couple of Underdogs he likes for this weekend, including one in the American Conference and another from the SEC on the weekend, too.

Finally, Sean Green of the “Sports Gambling Podcast” comes on for the first time this college hoop season to talk up what team he thinks will be in the National Title game and what conference tournament he’s looking forward to this weekend. Sean also likes a couple of doggies for Saturday, as well.

Rives is back with special guests to preview the weekend on the hardwood, but also in the boxing ring for Saturday night’s WBC Heavyweight Title fight rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, too!

First, T.J. gets the insight and some doggie picks from Brian Edwards of MajorWager.com, including a couple of them for Thursday night action. Brian also loves a Saturday SEC pooch and the guys talk about Gonzaga potentially in for a tough game at BYU.

Next, it’s time to head to Vegas, literally, as T.C. Martin joins the show previewing Wilder-Fury 2 happening Saturday night on PPV. T.C. is a five day a week radio host in the desert and has great perspective on the fighters and the matchup. Hear his gambling advice, including whom T.C. thinks will win, if you are looking to wager on the fight, too! It should be wild and may end in a dramatic KO.

Finally, a new guest, Chris Phillips of the “Spurs Up” podcast is on the show talking about his favorite subject, South Carolina. The Gamecocks took a tough loss (but still covered) as the road doggie at Mississippi State on Wednesday night, but now host LSU Saturday in a large showdown for USC. Get Chris’ thoughts on their chances for the win and possibly making the NCAA Tourney, too!

First up, Brian Edwards of MajorWager.com is on board with his thoughts on the crazy Duke OT win at North Carolina and then, he and T.J. start breaking down some Thursday and Saturday pooches. Who likes a Pac12 Thursday night doggie and who likes a Sun Belt conference game on Thursday, as well? Plus, the guys discuss several of the big Saturday matchups, including West Virginia at Baylor and Maryland at Michigan State to name two.

Next up is Mark Ennis, afternoon radio host on ESPN Louisville, who has tremendous insight on the Cards and the ACC. With Louisville ascending to #5 in the country but having been upset Wednesday night by Georgia Tech, what does this mean for their stretch run? Also, Mark talks some about the top of the conference, as they get ready for the ACC Tournament, too.
