  • 3' grezzi Ep.358 Diari (-7)

    TRASCRIZIONE [ENG translation below]

Ahi!

    TRANSLATION
Recording the raw 3 minutes with Sputnik the kitten on my lap making noises and trying to bite the microphone stand, the headphone cord or the cable of the screen that I use to keep me from doing too many implosive po po's to the microphone.
This is the seventh episode, the seventh episode before the conclusion of the grand finale of the 3 raw minutes, which, as has now been decided, thanks to Alessio's initial suggestion, by my friend Alessio whom you had the opportunity to meet several times in these 3 raw minutes, I think in fact Alessio is the person who has appeared the most, with his live voice in these 3 raw minutes.
You see, a while ago, a few weeks ago, a few months ago, he said to me, but excuse me, why do you have to keep doing endlessly on the 3 raw minutes? Why not let them remain such a one-off thing, of one year, of a circumscribed period?
Actually he is right and so there are seven episodes left, seven episodes to the conclusion, this last one, what will be the last episode I think on the fourth of January, because on the fourth of January of last year no, of this year of 2021 I started this adventure. Um yes, I don't want to do reports, I don't want to do summaries, also because it's not in the nature of this program, of this, of this experiment that for me is very successful.
I've had a great time and I've also noticed that I've acquired a fair number of listeners, fair as far as my expectations are concerned, which are certainly not to have hundreds of thousands of listeners, but not even hundreds, let's face it, there are six, seven people that I know for sure are listening to me religiously. Stop. Sputnik a little bit! And I know because when we meet in person they are friends and friends and they refer to things that I talked about in my 3 raw minutes.
I always stay a little bit like that and think but how do they know? And then of course they know because I talked about it, I blurted it out in my public diary. Here, this will also be a record for me , record in the sense of things written down and kept that for a year I had more or less a public diary where I really reported every day, every day things that happened to me and thoughts, so that wandered through my head. We still have five seconds left. Sputnik greets you, continues to buzz and plant his little nails on my leg. Ouch!

    TRASCRIZIONE [Eng translation below]

L'importante comunque è stare insieme e vi abbraccio tutti e vi ringrazio che mi state seguendo.

Actually, today the raw 3 minutes of this podcast I would have liked to record it from the mall where I went to make my last purchases. As we approached the mall in the sky, which was already almost toward sunset, I saw an avalanche, or rather a river, I don't know what they call those little birds that make all those patterns in the sky.
I was left speechless. We did the final piece of the road, parked in the parking lot of the mall, and after we parked I realized that the same stream of birds was still, still, still passing by, I stood there practically open-mouthed watching them, and it was never ending. I swear, it lasted. Boh, IDK, three, four minutes of this really big river, of birds making waves, going up and down.
I remember somewhere I had read, maybe I listened to a podcast, where they explained how it is that birds are able to communicate in real time, because there is no way they communicate by looking where one goes, looking behind the wing left and right to see where my neighbor goes and I go there too.
It is unbelievable. They have to have a sense--maybe they use the same sense that is used to orient themselves when making journeys, when when when birds migrate. But to see them like that, nose in the air, while everyone around was running around in a rush to do their Christmas shopping, was a beautiful moment. One moment ... Okay, not a magical moment, but a beautiful moment nonetheless.
And it occurred to me, oh my gosh, imagine if flamingos were also moving like that by the hundreds, hundreds and hundreds. It would be a beautiful spectacle. Instead, the flamingos move, let's say in families, even quite large at times, however not the immense size of this river that passed over my head.
Christmas Eve today, although I usually try not to tie the raw 3 minutes to a particular day, however today whatever, I feel like saying it's Christmas Eve. One very strange thing is that all the time I lived in Australia, Christmas night, Christmas Eve, was not celebrated, they only celebrated Christmas Day, the 25th.
I also used to take advantage of it because it was the middle of summer, I used to do the expat dinner, all people like me who were away from their family, so we would get together and have these expat tables. I think about it sometimes a little wistfully, because there was a sense of family that sometimes is not there when you are with real families.
Whatever, I'll leave you now because I have to go and prepare, start preparing dinner well in advance, because I want to do some extraordinary things. However, the important thing is to be together and I hug you all and thank you that you are following me.
