  • Issue 26 - Infinite Wars on Secret Earths

In this corner, fighting for Marvel, is their first major crossover event, Secret Wars!  And in this corner, fighting for DC, is their first major crossover event, Crisis on Infinite Earths.  This bout will be ten rounds to a finish, the winner will claim the title of Comics Series that Ruined the Industry!

That's right, the boys debate the granddaddies of all major crossover event...the good, the bads, and the uglies and discuss the long term effects Secret Wars and Crisis had on their respective universes and the comics industry as a whole!  The Top 3 this week features the Geeks' favorite movie soundtracks, and Brian Needs One actually has news that makes Lance hoot and holler!

  • Issue 25 - You Are Number 6

We want information...information...information...on the cult British TV show the Prisoner!

That's right, the Geeks tackle the psychological, psychedelic brain child of the great Patrick McGoohan!  Much like Number 2 in the show,  the boys do such a deep dive that they have to call in an expert, Lance's friend and Prisoner aficionado Randy!  They talk the origin and history of the show, favorite and least favorite episodes (and a couple Lance is unsure on), the outrageous last episode and what may be the underlying message in all the strangeness.

So put on your numbered pennyfarthing badge, pour yourself a nice cup of tea (make sure it hasn't been secretly drugged!), and join us for a trip to the village!

    Thanks for listening...be seeing you...

The pioneers gave up their safety, their comfort, and sometimes their lives to build our new west...we're not pioneering, but we do love the late great Darwyn Cooke's magnum opus, The New Frontier!  That's right, the boys review both the comic and the animated film, discussing their likes, dislikes and differences between the film and the comic!  In this week's Top 3, the Geeks talk their favorite comics writers!  All this plus the latest industry news from Brian Needs One!

  • Issue 23 - The Best Decade for Comics is...

It's the psychedelic 60s vs. the day-glo 80s for the title of the Best Decade in Comics according the the 3 Old Geeks!

The boys debate their favorite decade of comics, Keith cheats (which is becoming a trend), Brian fears retaliation from Kirby fans, and Lance hates on corporate comic books in a lively three way debate that spurs on a deeper discussion of how the comics industry has evolved, for better or worse, over the past five decades.  Keeping with the decades spanning discussion, this week's installment of the Top 3 is Fantastic Four stories!  All this plus the latest industry news!

  • Issue 22 - 3 Olde Geeks and the Round Table

The Geeks are about to get medieval on your...favorite podcast!

No, this isn't the Tarantino deep dive, it's the King Arthur deep dive!  Sir Keith of Komix, Sir Brian the Wanton and Sir Lancelot the Younger look at all things Arthurian, reviewing the first prestige maxi-series Camelot 3000, the fantasy classic Excalibur and because Lance insisted, Monty Python and the Holy Grail(which apparently needs to be spelled out in its entirety for Brian to get it)!  Keeping with the fantasy theme, the 3 Old Geeks Top 3 is favorite non-Lord of the Rings fantasy movies!

If all this isn't enough, Lance watched a Disney film...and liked it!  All this plus the latest news!

Strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government...but it is for a podcast!
