  • Guest: Doug Sandler - How the #Podcastologist was forged out of Personal and Professional Failure.
"...the secret of life is enjoying the passage of time.
This is not a destination. This is a journey... we're all hoping we're getting to where that next step is, but in the process we've sacrificed the passage of time.
Why not understand that the secret of life is enjoying the passage of time."
This week on 3 Steps to Thrive we have VERY special guest, mentor and #Podcastologist (aka he's kind of a big deal in the podcast world), Doug Sandler.

Listeners will walk away from this podcast with a sense of inspiration and humility - and love.
Of course, Doug shares his 3 points for improving the business or the business owner (this one you need to stay for!).

  • Guest: Mark Laurie - Your Naked Purpose.
"…and if you’re going to grow and your business is going to grow you’re going to have to take risks.
And you’re going to lose some.
That’s where you learn. You learn more from your failure, and your mistakes and your crashes than you learn from your successes."
This episode, James Lam speaks with multi-award winning photographer Mark Laurie of Inner Spirit Photography to unveil some truths that not all of us are ready to hear (or are we?).
Mark specializes in expressive nude and boudoir images of women. His passion remains the joy of helping women find stronger confidence, deeper body appreciation, higher self esteem or just to celebrate.
For 42 years Mark has created transformational photography adventures for over 5,000 women in 16 countries plus images in a time capsule orbit. The creativity of these images has earned Mark 4 International Photographer of the year awards plus the Canadian Photographer of the Year. Mark has had his own TV show, been a reality and show judge.
In this episode, we uncover what how Mark turned from a brash 20-year-old to somebody with a growth mindset and we uncover (yes - pun intended) why being nude can be a transformational experience.
You’re going to walk away with a sense of challenge on how you can better yourself and what challenges can help with your own growth.
Finally, we of course uncover Mark's 3 steps for improving either the business owner, or the business.
