Today we’re going to talk about the clinical definition of grief. Whereas bereavement is the experience of losing a loved one to death and mourning is the cultural expression of what’s going on, grief itself is the intense physical and psychological distress we experience in response to loss.

Collectively, we are all experiencing pandemic grief and the effects of life as we knew it being ripped away.
