Episode 300! It’s hard to believe it’s been over five years since starting the show. It’s been an incredible journey, capturing conversations with so many people from across the dog training and hunting world. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and learning from some of the most respected voices in the space.

That said, I recently had the opportunity to interview perhaps the most legendary name in the bird dog world—Mr. Delmar Smith. Over the course of a few days, we picked his brain, listened to his stories, and walked away with a treasure trove of footage. What began as a simple podcast episode quickly evolved into something more—a "docu-cast." Instead of just another interview, this project became a deep dive into Delmar’s life, family, business, and the seemingly endless supply of stories that only a man like him could tell.
