Having completed his first marathon 7 years ago, At 42 years old, Bryan Williams set out to complete the 490 mile Colorado Trail Run. Bryan took inspiration from Scott Jaime and worked with coach Cindy Stonesmith to prepare for this epic adventure that would take him over 13,000 foot passes and often getting only a couple hours of sleep each night. Bryan has the Fastest Known Time (FKT) of 8 days and 30 minutes.

TO put up a good fight and looked really strong on the bike holding a top 10 position throughout. He stuck to his race plan, which should have had him fighting for the win. When the pace picked up on the run, he found he just did not have the gears.

TO will go back to the drawing board as he plans for next year. In the meantime, fatherhood is his new priority and he looks forward to spending time with Rinny and Izzy.
