"3:10 to Yuma" (2007) is a Western film directed by James Mangold, based on a short story by Elmore Leonard. It is a remake of the 1957 film of the same name. It follows Dan Evans (Christian Bale), a struggling rancher and Civil War veteran who volunteers to escort the captured outlaw Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) to the town of Contention, where Wade is to board the 3:10 train to Yuma for his trial.
