She is a Professional Geoscientist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of global experience within the exploration and mining industry. Before co-founding Exiro, Shastri spent eight years at FNX Mining where she was a core member of the exploration and resource team that discovered the Victoria and Morrison Deposits. She subsequently was the President and CEO of TSX listed Bridgeport Ventures where she raised over $17 million in the capital markets. In 2012 she co-founded and still currently co-owns Orix Geoscience Inc. (www.orixgeo.com), a consulting firm that partners with exploration and mining companies to provide front-end geological support.
