In David’s latest visit to Thailand, David sits down and talks to Maya who is a Ladyboy. In Thailand, the term ladyboy is accepted, understood and accurate according to Maya. She reveals the danger of surgery, (penal removal) from the emotional point of view. She has not chosen to do that but knows many who have. Maya’s confidence in herself and not caring what others say about her is insightful. Her message of the acceptance yourself and open to change is equally astute.
