みなさんこんにちは、かなこです！今日のシャドーイングは「てform + はいけません」です。

Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is denying activities “You must not do…” This is usually used in a classroom by teachers to students, or at home by parents to their kids. Otherwise, it sounds a little harsh.

However, it might be used in a place owned by someone, because the owner has the right to tell people what they shouldn’t do.

You must not enter.　 入ってはいけません。

You must not use the dictionary. 　 辞書を 使ってはいけません。

You must not speak English. 　 英語を 話してはいけません。

You must not sleep in a class. 　 クラスで 寝てはいけません。

You must not take pictures.　 写真を とってはいけません。

You must not smoke on the bus.　 バスで タバコを 吸ってはいけません。

You must not drink alcohol on the train. 電車で お酒を飲んではいけません。

You must not touch this. これに 触ってはいけません。

You must not eat in the library.　 図書館で 食べてはいけません。

You must not speak loudly in the library.　 図書館で 大声で 話してはいけません。

You must not talk on the phone in the library.　図書館で 電話をしてはいけません。

You must not drive after drinking alcohol.　お酒を 飲んで運転してはいけません。
