In Episode 343: Surviving a Category 5 Hurricane in a Leaf Hut, we talk with filmmaker Michael Lees, who set out on a journey to find himself and his place in this world back on his home island of Dominica. Michael had a plan to spend six months out in the rainforest, living off the land with no modern tools to aid him. He made it about three months into his adventure when a Category 5 hurricane smashed into the island, leaving Michael clinging for his life. Once he made it through this life-threatening event, he had a story to tell with the video documentation of a nightmare turned into reality.
