Ninjas Are Butterflies

A terrifying legend once stalked the Arizona frontier. They called it the Red Ghost—but what witnesses claimed they saw wandering through the desert was even stranger than the name.

Then we head to the skies over Iran, where a mysterious sighting bears an eerie resemblance to something reported in the same region more than 50 years ago. What keeps returning to the skies over Iran?

And finally, the people building the world’s most powerful AI are warning that we may be moving too fast. What happens if the thing we’re creating becomes something we can no longer control?

The Red Ghost, UFOs over Iran, artificial intelligence, and plenty more on Ninjas Are Butterflies Episode 214.

The people building the world’s most powerful AI are starting to sound the alarm. One researcher just walked away, warning that the race toward super-intelligence could have consequences we’re nowhere near prepared for.

Then we dive into a bizarre 1977 encounter involving two military policemen, a nuclear missile site, a UFO, and hours of missing time that remained buried for nearly 50 years.

Plus, the insane rise of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos and how a 19 year old convinced some of the most powerful people in America to believe in technology that barely existed.

AI warnings, UFOs, missing time, billion dollar deception, and plenty of chaos. Welcome to Episode 213 of Ninjas Are Butterflies.

What’s lurking in the woods of Florida—and why do so many people describe something that looks almost human? In Episode 208 of Ninjas Are Butterflies, we dive into the bizarre legend of the Van Meter Monster before heading into the swamps and forests of Florida to investigate terrifying reports of pale, unnaturally thin humanoids known as Crawlers. Are these creatures just modern folklore, misidentified animals, or could the stories of long-limbed, Skinwalker-like beings point to something much stranger? From a winged monster that allegedly terrorized an entire Iowa town to encounters with something crawling through the Florida darkness, this episode goes deep into some of America’s creepiest cryptid stories. Welcome back to Ninjas Are Butterflies—where somehow, the rabbit holes keep getting worse.

Did an Egyptian princess really travel across the ancient world and give Scotland its name? In Episode 207 of Ninjas Are Butterflies, we dive into the bizarre legend of Scota, the mysterious figure some ancient traditions connect to Egypt, Ireland, and the origins of Scotland. But that’s only the beginning. We investigate the horrifying story of the Black Hole of Calcutta and ask how much of the version passed down through history actually happened, before uncovering the unbelievable story of Captain Henry Every — the pirate who pulled off one of the greatest scores in history, became one of the most wanted men on Earth, and then seemingly vanished without a trace. Ancient bloodlines, disputed history, buried treasure, missing pirates, and mysteries that somehow get stranger the deeper you go. This is Ninjas Are Butterflies.

The conversation around UFO disclosure has never been bigger—but what if we're asking the wrong questions?

This week, we're joined by former Green Beret Paul Bock for a deep dive into the modern disclosure movement, Steven Greer's role in shaping the conversation, and the possibility that the phenomenon may be spiritual rather than extraterrestrial. We explore reports of demonic spiritual oppression, consciousness, government transparency, and the growing overlap between paranormal experiences and biblical theology.

Could UFO disclosure be revealing hidden truths, or is it leading people toward a much larger deception? Paul shares his research, challenges popular narratives, and offers a perspective that will leave you thinking long after the episode ends.

Whether you're fascinated by UAPs, interested in spiritual warfare, or simply curious about one of today's most controversial topics, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.
