Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is explaining the reason or the cause of a situation using “から”.

First, you can make a statement, and add “から” at the end of the next sentence to explain the reason. This way, you don’t need to make a long sentence including a reason in one sentence, so it’s much simpler.

I’m tired. Because I was busy.　 疲れています。忙しかったですから。

I have a lot of time today. Because I don’t have meetings.　今日は ひまです。ミーティングがありませんから。

I will go to Japan. Because I like temples.　日本に 行きます。お寺が 好きですから。

I will go to Hawaii. Because I like the ocean. 　ハワイに 行きます。海が 好きですから。

I went to a park. Because the weather was good.　公園に 行きました。天気が 良かったですから。

I went to a pool. Because it was hot.　プールに行きました。暑かったですから。

I will clean my room. Because it’s dirty. 　部屋を 掃除します。汚いですから。

I don’t watch TV. Because it’s boring.　テレビを見ません。つまらないですから。

I listen to podcasts. Because it’s interesting.　ポッドキャストを聞きます。面白いですから。

I will study. Because I have a test tomorrow.　 勉強します。明日テストがありますから。
