George Kelly and Charles Connolly had been arrested in the case of the Cameo Cinema Murders in 1949. They went to trial on the 12th January 1950 and it captivated the nation. The trial would lead to some surprising testimony and it would end in a shocking way. This case would have some repercussions in the following the years.
