The Nervii, fiercest of the Belgae, gather en masse to confront Julius Caesar and his legions. Caesar races ahead to meet them. On the bank of the River Sabis the Nervii set an ambush that Caesar and his Romans walk right into. A chaotic large-scale battle ensues. Soon Julius Caesar is forced to grab a shield and join his soldiers on the front line. Will it be enough to save the Romans from destruction?
