This podcast is all about speaking clear and slow Japanese, making it easier for you to understand🇯🇵
In this episode, I share a story from a recent visit to a soba restaurant. I witnessed a foreign traveler, clearly nervous, but bravely saying "gochisousama deshita" (thank you for the meal) to the staff. It was such a simple moment, but it warmed my heart, reminding me how beautiful it is to make the effort to speak a new language, even imperfectly.
I also talk about my own experience with neck pain. Waking up one morning with a sore neck, I went to a chiropractic clinic where they used electrical therapy and massage to help relieve the pain. It was a great reminder of how important it is to find the right person to help you, and how activities like sports and mindfulness can do wonders for both the body and mind. I'd love to hear if you've had similar experiences or if you have wellness practices from your own country that you swear by.
