3AW Remember When

In a packed program Patti Newton tells of how touched she was when she and Denise Drysdale toured Vietnam during the war.  Listening at the time was Normie Rowe who called in to join in the discussion.

Patti speaks about how she was touched during her time in Vietnam.  Little did we know Normie Rowe was listening in.

Di Rolle has been a behind the scenes legend in Publicity for decades. In this chat she tells of her friendship with some of the worlds biggest names and reminisces about when images of her went global as "Mrs Michael Jackson"

In the 1850's the town of San Francisco was ruled by a group of criminal Australians known as the Sydney Coves.  Journalist Terry Smyth has uncovered the horror that these Australians inflicted on San Francisco and tells how it was the people, not the law, who put an end to their reign of terror.

We take a trip down memory lane with Kevin Trask each week.  This week Kevin takes us back 58 years to 1959.

In a packed programme we speak with a living piece of art Moira Funicane (google her) about her show "The Rapture", Philip tells Peter Hitchener how he crossed paths Winston Churchill, Jim Schembri reviews "Rough Night", and Bruce's piece is "The Duck".

Moira Finucane's show THE RAPTURE is hard to describe.  You need to experience it.  Phil and Simon reveal their inability to grasp the concept.
