The Marvels gives you a classic team-up film that overall works very well. Despite the issues from the film its not enough to detract from the quality. The straightforward nature of the film especially with the short run time helps it as well. The Marvels' giving the kind of fun meant to leave you enthusiastic and smiling at the end of an enjoyable ride. So, if you come away from thinking it has a narrative problem, that's a you problem; not an MCU problem.
