What is the most famous line in Star Wars? What if I told you that the line is actually, “No, I am your father” NOT “Luke, I am your father”?  What do you recall the monopoly man looking like?  What if I told you that he did not in fact wear a monocle?  Instead, these shared false memories are known as the Mandela effect. The term was created by Diona Broome, a paranormal researcher, in 2009. She was at a conference, telling people that she had remembered watching coverage of former South African President Nelson Mandelas death in prision in the 1980s. She was shocked to hear of his death in 2013, years after he had been released from prison. As she was telling people this story a number of them said “I also remember watching the coverage of his death in the 80s”. but how could that be? Nelson Mandela actually served 27 years in prison before being released. He went on to serve as president of South Africa from 1994-1999 and died in 2013. This shared false memory intrigued her and she created a website to research the affects further. There are hundreds of examples of this effect, but why does it happen? Are our memories really just unreliable? Or, are there multiple universes existing parallel to our own, and these inconsistencies, like the spelling of Oscar Meyer (it’s MAYER not MEYER) or the presence of a cornucopia in the fruit of the loom logo (there isn’t one) are examples of small changes caused by our timeline merging or branching off of another?

Have you ever been to a grocery store?  Have you ever looked at the brands?  Well if you deep dive into each brand, and the parent company that owns those brands, you are going to find a common denominator.  Every single brand in the grocery store, including condiments, sauces, dressings, feminine hygiene...they are almost all dominated and owned by the same three investors, and a handful of parent companies.  Now, for this particular episode we were inspired by a Tik Tok - where the creator went through each aisle and divulged who owned what company aisle by aisle, and it was absolutely mind boggling.

On August 4, 2009, a local news channel in Mexico aired footage of a tall, young woman. The clip showed Mexican model Gabriela Rico Jimenez in front of a luxury hotel making accusations toward young powerful people, including kidnapping, murder, and cannibalism. In the clip she is seen being escorted away by police officers, but she has not been seen or heard from since. Did the illuminati murder her and cover it up to protect themselves?

The Illuminati was a Bavarian secret society founded in 1776, with close ties to the Freemasons.  The society, founded by a law professor, sought to promote Enlightenment, and favored separation of church and state.  The group was disbanded less than a decade after its formation by royal and church edict… But did it really disperse?  Today, many conspiracy theorists claim that the Illuminati is a secret society that continues to exist and exert control over world events. They are often depicted as a small, powerful elite manipulating governments, economies, and media.  Theories often associate the Illuminati with various symbols and claim their influence extends into popular culture, politics, and financial systems.  If you believe these theories, then this elite group has planted agents in governments and corporations in order to influence and establish a New World Order.

Scientology is a controversial and highly secretive religious movement founded by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard in the 1950s. It emphasizes practices like auditing, a form of spiritual counseling, and the belief in an immortal spiritual being called a "thetan." The church is known for its strict hierarchical structure, aggressive litigation against critics, and insular community practices. Shelly Miscavige, the wife of current Scientology leader David Miscavige, vanished from public view around 2007, sparking widespread concern and speculation. Her disappearance has been particularly alarming to critics and former members of the church, who allege that the church's authoritarian control and penchant for secrecy may be factors in her prolonged absence. Despite inquiries and a missing person's report filed by ex-Scientologist Leah Remini, the church insists that Shelly is simply living a private life dedicated to her work within the organization, yet no verifiable sightings or communications from Shelly herself have emerged, fueling ongoing mystery and controversy. What really happened to Shelly?

Adolf Hitler was the dictator of Nazi Germany, rising as the leader of the Nazi party before becoming the head of state and government in 1934.  During his dictatorship, he initiated the European theatre of  World War II by invading Poland in 1939.  He was closely involved in military operations throughout the war and was responsible for the creation of mobile death squads to perform mass executions on 6 million Jews, as well as Catholics, homosexuals, political dissidents, gypsies, and disabled people.  In addition, 3,000 children, mostly twins were experimented on and eventually killed.  Overall, he is thought to be responsible for the murder of 19.3 million civilians and POWs, with 28.7 million people dying as a result of military action – an unprecedented number.

In April 1945, as the war was winding down, Hitler was hiding out in a bunker. Hitler married his longtime partner Eva Braun just after midnight on April 29, then several hours later he shot himself in the head.  At the same time, his new wife Eva Braun and their dog, Blondi, each took a cyanide pill.  Their bodies were doused in gasoline and set on fire per his request.  Nothing remained of him except a portion of jaw bone and some teeth.

We know Hitler had body doubles, could one of them be the charred body that was found? Did he and his new wife survive and flee to Argentina? Did he escape to a secret base in Antarctica?  Or…  is he living on the dark side of the moon?

November 22, 1963: The President and Vice President are on a campaign tour through Texas in preparation for the 1964 re-election.  Secret Service was told to back off so that the president seemed more “approachable”.  While riding in a convertible with his wife, Jackie, Texas governor John Connally, and Connally’s wife, Nellie, they departed Love Field.  The route had been published in the newspaper, and so thousands of residents had gathered along the streets, as the motorcade proceeded through the streets of downtown Dallas.  As it passed through Dealey Plaza at around 12:30 PM, shots rang out from the crowd.  The number of shots and originating location are up for debate, but in the end, Governor Conally and President Kennedy were shot, with Kennedy being pronounced dead approximately 30 minutes later at nearby Parkland Hospital.  Approximately 45 minutes later, Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested.  The 24 year old marine veteran, and employee at the Texas School Book Depository, was accused of shooting and killing police officer J.D. Tippit with a different gun, before hiding out in a movie theater.  Within 2hrs of JFK’s murder, Oswald was in police custody and accused of both murders.  Unfortunately, he was shot while being escorted by police officers 48 hours later.  The gunman of his murder was identified as Jack Ruby, a local club owner with mob connections.  The following day, Kennedy is buried at Arlington National Cemetary.  But was this all tied up a little too neatly? Does the evidence match the public story?  Was JFK really assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone?  Or is there more to the story that has been covered up?
