Have you ever slept on a mattress before? Have you ever questioned whether or not your comfortable sleeping mat was part of a money laundering scandal? Well, this is what many conspiracy theorists believe is happening with this popular mattress company, Mattress Firm. We often see multiple store fronts within a localized area, even up to five in a one mile radius in certain cities. You may also note that these store fronts are normally empty but yet are always having large sales. The parent company for these stores has also been confirmed to be involved in financial crimes within the last decade. Is this an innocent mattress business or are they hiding something? Are they hiding a money laundering scandal?

On April 12, 1961, the Soviet Union launched the first human into space.  In an effort to “compete”, President JFK asked his VP Lyndon Johnson to identify a “space program which promises dramatic results in which we could win” and began calling for human exploration on the moon “before the decade is out”.  Eight years later, on July 16, 1969, a rocket carrying the Apollo 11 astronauts (Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins) took off from Cape Kennedy.  After four days of travel, the lunar module carrying Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon.  As Neil Armstrong stepped out to become the first human on the moon, the event was captured by a television camera attached to the craft, and transmitted back to earth, where 650 million people watched from home.  Of them, 125 million were from USA – making it the most watched television moment in US history according to the air and space museum”.  Michael Collins stayed onboard the command module Columbia as a communications link and photographer.  After 2.5 hours spent on the moon, the three began the journey home, eventually splashing down in the Pacific Ocean on July 24, 1969.  There were 5 more lunar landings, with the final one in 1972.  We have not been back to the moon since

 The conspiracy theory here is that the US Government faked the lunar landing, in an attempt to win the space race with the Russians, and fulfill the late President’s promise to land on the moon before the end of the decade, a mere 5 months away.  Non-believers argue that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin filmed the landing on a secret set, perhaps in Hollywood?.  In fact, this was just a year after Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A space odyssey, which depicted “realistic” images of outer space.  Did he also film the moon landing on a sound stage?   The photo and video evidence was only available through NASA, so there is no way to independently verify their authenticity.   On the other hand,  did rumors of the moon landing hoax originate decades later, due to the fact that the Pentagon Papers and Watergate had left a lot of Americans distrustful of the government?

Have you ever seen a plane fly overhead before, leaving behind a condensation trail that seems to linger just a little too long?  If so, you may have been exposed to chemical and biologic agents being released into the atmosphere, or so the conspiracists believe.  The theory all started in the 1990s, after the United States Air Force published a report on weather modification.  Americans started accusing the government of "spraying the US population with mysterious substances".  These substances could be released for a number of reasons, including reduced life expectancy, weather modification, or mind control.  Chemtrails are believed to be the visible plumes of smoke from aircraft that stay visible in the atmosphere for hours longer than usual contrails.  Do we believe the government is trying to chemically control us?  What truly is being released from the planes we see every day?

In the picturesque vacation town of Montauk, NY, is an abandoned air force base.  Camp Hero was built in 1942, and was used by the Air Force during WWII.  Between 1971 and 1983, there are reports of US government experiments in an underground bunker, to include time travel, teleportation, mind control, alien contact, and even the staging of the “fake” apollo moon landings.    Allegedly, the purposes of these Cold War Experiments were to develop psychological warfare, and were performed under US authority using Nazi gold recovered during WWII.  This conspiracy theory originated based on reports of Alfred Bielek and Preston Nichols who claim to be program directors of the Montauk experiments before having their memories wiped, as well as people who report having been experimented on.

During WW2, Einstein may have been working with the US Navy to utilize his unified field theory to bend light allowing ships to disguise themselves from enemy U boats.  In October 1943, the USS Eldridge was allegedly stationed at a naval shipyard in Philadelphia, and witnesses report it became invisible to both radar and the naked eye.  Following the initial experiment, it was rumored to have teleported hundreds of miles away to Norfolk, VA then back to Philadelphia in a matter of minutes.   There are claims that this left crew members fused to the bulkheads, vaporized, caught on fire, rematerialized inside out, or became insane with disorientation.  What do you think happened?

On August 31, 1997, Princess Diana was traveling with then partner Dodi Fayed, an Egyptian Film Producer.  Dodi was the son of Mohamed Al-Fayed, a billionaire who owned the Hotel Ritz in Paris, as well as Harrod’s Department Store and Fulham Football Club.  Princess Diana and Fayed left the Ritz Hotel in Paris, just after midnight, accompanied by her bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones, and her driver Henri Paul.  While reportedly fleeing paparazzi, her Mercedes crashed into a concrete pillar in the Alma Tunnel going 60-90 mph.  Princess Diana,  Fayed, and Paul all died, while bodyguard Rees-Jones was critically injured but survived.  At the time of her death, Princess Diana was perhaps the most famous woman in the world, and was in a public battle with the royal family - having divulged intimate details of her marriage which were potentially embarrassing to the monarchy.  A French court ruled in 1999 that the crash was caused by Diana’s driver who was reportedly drunk and speeding.  A three year British Inquiry led by Metropolitan Police Chief John Stevens, agreed with the findings, as did a 2007 inquest with London’s Royal Courts of Justice.  Despite these findings, questions remain… and there are a plethora of theories that the death may have been orchestrated by the Royal Family.
