In today's episode, we are diving into the viral conspiracy culture - specifically the theory that Garth Brooks is a serial killer.  Are his friends in low places.... really in low places?  When Garth was in college in Oklahoma, a young girl was murdered.  Then, he moved to Nashville in 1987 and worked at the Boot Barn, and again - during the period he was there, multiple women went missing.  If you track his tour schedule, there seems to be a cluster of missing or murdered unsolved cases at each of his stops.  So buckle up, because this one’s equal parts creepy, funny, and unsettling.  Whether you think it’s just a running joke—or something stranger—this episode will have you asking: "Where are the bodies, G?"

On November 7, his family’s nanny, Sandra Rivett, was brutally murdered, and his estranged wife, Veronica, survived a violent attack. While police named Lucan as the prime suspect, he disappeared without a trace that night, leaving behind a cryptic note to his mother and hints that he might have planned his escape. Some theorists suggest that Lucan didn’t just flee—he orchestrated a perfect vanishing act, using his wealth, aristocratic connections, and meticulous planning to vanish from the public eye and start a new life abroad.  The mythos of Lord Lucan continues to grow because there is no closure. No body, no confirmed sightings, no final confession—just endless speculation. Helen Keller was born June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama, to a prominent family.  While the family was well off, much of their wealth was lost during the Civil War, and they lived rather modestly.   At 19 months, Helen became ill with a high fever due to what many presume to be Scarlet Fever, resulting in loss of eyesight and hearing.  As she grew up, she was frustrated and unruly, prompting her parents to write to the Perkins School for the Blind to request help.  The school sent Anne Sullivan, a 20 year old graduate of the school who suffered serious vision problems.  Anne removed Helen from the home for a few weeks and the two lived in a cottage where Anne taught Helen to communicate with her hands.  Over the next several years, Helen learned to read and write.  Anne Sullivan remained Helen’s companion until her death, even helping her to earn a BA in 1904 from Radcliffe College, the female sister school of Harvard.  Helen Keller went on to write over a dozen books, including an autobiography which went on to be adapted into The Miracle Worker.  She also campaigned for social causes like women’s suffrage, labor rights, world peace, and was also a vocal advocate for those with disabilities.   She was also a pacifist, a supporter of female birth control, and…. a eugenics supporter!   She was a member of the Socialist Party and a founding member of the ACLU. S he worked for the American Foundation for the Blind for over 40 years, influencing policy and public perceptions of disability worldwide, and traveled to more than 35 countries to promote education and accessibility.  She died in 1961 after suffering a series of strokes, and was celebrated posthumously… Until 2020 when hashtags like #helenkellerisfake and #helenkellerisoverparty started trending on Tik Tok.  Conspiracy theorists claimed that Helen Keller either didn’t exist, wasn’t truly deaf and blind, or didn’t accomplish the things she’s famous for—from writing books to earning a degree or speaking publicly.  Some videos even suggested she “faked” her disabilities or that her teacher Anne Sullivan was pulling the strings behind the scenes.  What started out as satire quickly came to be believed as truth by many.  But what is the truth?

On June 21, 1976, Rafael Pacheco Pérez, a student pilot at the Escuela de Aviación México, embarked on a solo training flight from Mexico City to Chimalhuacán.  Shortly after takeoff, he vanished from radar, and an hour later, reappeared over Acapulco—approximately three hours in the opposite direction of his intended destination.  The aircraft, designed for short flights, was low on fuel and not equipped for such a journey.  During communication with air traffic control, Pacheco's voice reportedly became altered, delivering a message from an entity claiming to be using him as a "microphone" to transmit a message.  The message conveyed that the beings were from the same universe, observing humanity, and warned of an impending global catastrophe if humanity did not change.  Upon landing, Pacheco appeared disoriented and was taken for a medical evaluation.  Despite being tested for intoxication, he was found to be in perfect health, with no drugs or alcohol in his system.  But what is the truth behind one of Mexico's most popular aviation mysteries?  Was the pilot truly possessed by extraterrestrial creatures trying to save humanity, and if so were they able to break the time space continuum?  Was he suffering from a Menty-B?  Was it all a hoax perpetrated by the pilot?  Or is this just another urban legend to debunk?

The National Football League is an American football league composed of 32 teams, representing a multitude of states and cities.  It was founded in 1920, originally named the American Professional Football Association, but was quickly renamed to the NFL that we know it as now.  Original seasons run form September to early January, with each team playing 17 games with 1 bye week.  Mid-January starts playoffs which is a single elimination tournament for the ultimate goal of winning it all in the Super Bowl.  Last year we covered some conspiracy theories about if the games were rigged and staged.  This year we are going to cover some smaller theories that you may not know of.
