  • S4E3 SIBLINGS SURVIVING TRAUMA TOGETHER: PART 2 - Prepubescent (Ages 8-12)

    Send us Fan Mail

Last episode, we talked about childhood abuse in ages 0 to 8—how it manifests, how siblings relate, and what adults miss. Tonight, we're moving into the prepubescent years. Ages 8 to 12. This is where everything shifts.

This is the age where kids start to become aware. They start to understand that something is wrong. They develop coping mechanisms. They show behavioral red flags that, if adults were paying attention, could change everything.

In this episode, we're going to talk about how trauma shows up differently at this age, the coping strategies kids develop, and the warning signs that scream 'this child needs help.

We're starting a series that's deeply personal to me and, I believe, essential for anyone who's experienced what it means to grow up in a home where multiple siblings are being abused in different ways.

This is the first episode in our 10-part series called 'Siblings Surviving Trauma Together.' We're going to walk through how abuse manifests in childhood, what it looks like between siblings, and what parents and relatives often miss. This is heavy, this is real, and this is necessary.

  • 3T THE PODCAST: The Rebranding

    Send us Fan Mail

A podcast doesn’t fix trauma, but the right conversation can crack the door open. We’re celebrating one full year of showing up for the topics people avoid: childhood trauma, emotional wounds, unhealthy relationship patterns, and the quiet ways pain follows us into adulthood. And we’re stepping into our next chapter with a new name, 3T The Podcast, built to grow the community without losing the heart of why we started.

We talk about why so many survivors stay silent: fear of not being believed, family pressure, shame, missing language for what happened, and the exhaustion of reliving old memories. We also get practical about what “trauma signs” can look like without turning every behavior into a diagnosis. If you’ve struggled with trust, conflict, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or feeling on edge, we share a grounded way to think about patterns and next steps, including safety first, trusted support, and seeking trauma-informed mental health care.

We also cover red flags adults should watch for in kids, how to respond if a child opens up, and why healing isn’t a straight line. Triumph can be boundaries, rest, asking for help, and learning to breathe through the moment. We’re survivors, not clinicians, so we’ll never pretend this replaces therapy, but we will help you think clearly and connect with resources, even across different countries when possible.

If you’re here for honesty, growth, and real tools, subscribe, share this with someone who needs it, and leave a review. What do you want 3T to bring into your life next?
