Junko Furuta was finishing her last year of high school, she was smart, beautiful and popular. She was planning for her future she wanted to become an Idol singer. On Nov 25, 1988 Junko never made it home from work. Junko's family made efforts to locate her unfortunately her captors would force her to lie to her family and tell them she ran away. Her family would not be able to imagine the  brutality of the next 44 days of Junkos life.
