In this episode I talk about the last couple of days of my epic 500-mile walk and reaching Santiago de Compostela where I took in my first impressions of the city and went to get by certificates for completing the walk before checking in to my hotel for a nice long soak in the bath! In this episode I talk about my coffee mishap and a bizzare chance encounter with a couple of Romanians first thing in the morning! We walked the rest of the day to El Acebo, passing the Iron Cross and the place of the last Templar Knight, and taking in some wonderful scenic as we walked along the mountain tops. I speak about how much I enjoy the albergue with the pool and the unlimited beers offer, and watching the spectacle of the sun setting in the mountains.

In this episode I talk about my journey to Astorga where I enjoyed an amazing hot breakfast and visited the impressive cathedral and museum. I continued my walk bumping into Ewan, the South Korean, again. We made our way to El Ganso. He was already booked in to a place, so I made my way to a place that had a shop and a vacancy for the night on a rural country path.
