The public school system is the most prominent educational model in our culture. And it's often the one that homeschoolers look to for guidance or at least a set of standards to measure against.
But, if you've done more than a day or two of homeschooling, you quickly realize that home education is (and should be) vastly different.
One of the common questions and source of many a mom wondering if she's doing enough is how much time to spend on school. I thought it was about time to talk this through and decided to focus on the elementary age range.
