The Vienna-based hardware startup Robo Wunderkind develops modular programmable robots for young children: with Robo Wunderkind, kids can just snap the modules together in different configurations to build their robotics creations. Once the robot is built, it can be programmed in an app, which uses a graphical drag and drop style programming. No prior coding or even reading knowledge is necessary. Kids will easily create personalized virtual dashboards and control their creations to solve mazes, go on treasure hunts, play music, navigate around obstacles - the possibilities are endless.

We discuss the following aspects of Robo Wunderkind:

• The first robot that kids as young as 5 years old can build and program.
