Kara, Sam and Penny dive headfirst into the dating scene in 1999 Los Angeles, swapping war stories from the the trials, tribulations and dangers of dating. 

The trio’s conversation meanders through the episode and hits on tropes of Film Noir, pick-up lines, LGBTQ+ representation, The 100, Sex Education, Heartstopper, Squid Games, The Walking Dead, Agatha All Along, Angel’s preference for blondes, shipping, the hate for Kate, condoms and safer sex amid the AIDS crisis of the 90s, the bisexual vampires of True Blood and Interview with a Vampire, Gladiator II, Batman, hair care, dress codes, burrowing,   and loneliness.
