On this episode, Paige chats with Jackie Bryan, copywriter and story telling wizard that radiates positivity. Jackie is a creative entrepreneur and the face behind her copywriting business, Soltura Creative. Jackie helps female entrepreneurs speak their unique truth, unearth their magic and empower others through story telling.

Jackie was born and raised in Costa Rica and shares her experience moving to LA, working at Staples and as a waitress for several years and explains how those jobs helped her present herself to the world in a very genuine way, which helped her come out of her shell and learn how to engage with others. Jackie chats about her experience living in LA in her early twenties to moving to Portland, Oregon to finish her English degree, and shares how a horrible break up eventual lead her to move to Vietnam.

Jackie shares her experience dating someone with an addiction and the slow process of uncovering the hard truths of the relationship. She expresses the trauma of having an addict father and how she found herself constantly trying to fix past toxic relationships. Through her writing, Jackie uncovered embedded trauma, which helped her heal and work through her experiences.

Paige and Jackie chat about the process of healing and what it means to be patient, find self compassion, and what it looks like to take it day by day and not put yourself in a situation that you’re not quite ready for.
