Connect My Brain

43. The intersection of spiritual and physical health with Katie Johnston

Listen Later

In our conversation, Katie shares how this change of perspective, which was really a revelation from God, took place and how it has changed the way she and her family do things. Katie approaches parenting from a proactive standpoint instead of a reactive one and this has meant making choices to keep her kids from unnecessary stress and fear, especially during the past couple of years. In the past few years, Katie started homeschooling her kids and during this time gained a higher awareness of her son's struggles with anxiety, sensory processing, and more. Katie heard about Connect My Brain and several months later, her son has seen great improvements and has graduated from the Connect My Brain program! Katie's story is an encouragement to take your journey one day at a time, to focus on the present moment, and to trust God's plan for your life.
