What comes to mind when you hear the word Trauma?!
It could be something as simple as being stressed out at work, or something as devastating as losing loved ones!
You might be startled to learn that all of us are experiencing or have experienced a traumatic event in our lives, and how we respond to these traumas varies greatly.
What matters is that it impacts our brain and body, and that it changes the way our bodies and brain handle it!
It causes persistent stress and, as a result, a sense of helplessness and fear!
In this series of "Understand Your Trauma," we'll go over the three forms of trauma, establish our category, so that we can perhaps heal from trauma and even recognise that our trauma does not define us, but rather helps us grow...
