Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is “describing the appearance using body parts and adjectives. The sentence structure is “SubjectはBody partsがAdjectiveです”. For instance if you were to say “My friend has long hair”, it would be like this. “友達は髪が長いです” I also included idiomatic collocations, such as “smart” and “tall”.

I have big hands. 私は 手が 大きいです。

Babies have small hands.  赤ちゃんは 手が 小さいです。

My son has a small mouth.　息子は 口が 小さいです。

My daughter has big eyes.  娘は 目が 大きいです。

My friend has white teeth.  友達は 歯が 白いです。

My dad is tall.  お父さんは 背が高いです。
