みなさんこんにちは、かなこです！今日のシャドーイングは「形容詞（けいようし）の “て-Form”」です。

Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is “Connecting two adjectives using Te-form of adjectives. To make Te-form of いAdjective, drop い and add くて. To make Te-form ofなAdjective, drop なand addで. For instance, Te-form of “おいしい” is “おいしくて”, and Te-form of “きれいな” is “きれいで”.

When you use Te-form to connect two adjectives, these adjectives have to be either positive meanings or negative meanings.

This restaurant is inexpensive and delicious. このレストランは　安くて、美味しいです。

Winter in Canada is cold and long.  カナダの冬は 寒くて、長いです。

Japanese people are kind and polite.  日本人は 親切で、礼儀正しいです。

My friend is tall and good-looking.  友達は 背が高くて、かっこいいです。

My friend is pretty and kind.　 友達は 可愛くて、やさしいです。

This dog is small and cute.　 この犬は 小さくて、可愛いです。

My cousin is smart and interesting.　 いとこは頭が良くて、面白いです。

My room is clean and spacious.　私の部屋は きれいで、広いです。
