This week on LOTW Becky Christoffersen and Bevy Day discuss the Staudte family murders. 

Mark Staudte was studying in college when he met the love of his life, Diane. The two fell in love, got married and went on to have four children together. However, in early 2012, the family would be struck with tragedy. Diane would come home from church on Easter Sunday to find her husband, Mark, dead. Following the untimely death of Mark, the remaining family members tried to move on with their lives the best they could in spite of the circumstances. However, that task would seem impossible as the family is hit with another tragedy only months later, as Diane Staudte's eldest son, Shaun, falls ill and dies. Although the timing between Mark and Shaun's deaths is uncanny, both men were ultimately found to have died due to natural causes. However, when Diane's eldest daughter, Sarah, falls ill and becomes hospitalized, a 911 call is made implicating Diane as responsible for the deaths of both her husband and son as well as the hospitalization of her daughter. Cops have no choice but to investigate.
