Hello everyone, welcome back to She Slays. This week we are in conversation with 19-years-old Ashi Sharma, who is an undergraduate student of Applied Psychology. Ashi developed a severe case of
depression at the age of 16. Sexual abuse traumas, slutshaming and name-calling made it impossible to recover from her health problem. Ashi did try to reach out to people, but owing to the limited awareness of mental health, her efforts bore no fruit. She knew that therapy would be a blacklisted tipic in her household and she personally wanted to avoid medication. So Ashi decided to help herself in her own hands. She began going for regular walks and tried different activities each day and continued to invest in self-care and self-love.
