We took a dive into some feminist literary criticism this week and read Joanna Russ's How to Suppress Women's Writing. It was published in 1983 and therefore focuses a lot on strictly women's writing - but we contend these methods have been used and continue to be used not just on work and art by women, but that of people of color and the LGBTQ+ community.
