We took a dive into some feminist literary criticism this week and read Joanna Russ's How to Suppress Women's Writing. It was published in 1983 and therefore focuses a lot on strictly women's writing - but we contend these methods have been used and continue to be used not just on work and art by women, but that of people of color and the LGBTQ+ community.
You can read the book here.
Next week we will be reading and discussing Ghost Wall by Sarah Moss. You can find it at your local bookstore or library and read along with us.
